Quest is easy to recognise by name, but its products are not one kind of snack. NZ Supps lists classic Quest Bars, Overload bar boxes, peanut butter cups, tortilla chips and cheese crackers. If you want a sweet bar, a crunchy savoury packet will not solve that craving. Start with the format, then read the exact nutrition panel.
The short answer
- For a single sweet snack, start with a Quest Bar in a flavour you already tend to like.
- For a more dessert-like bar bought by the box, look at Quest Overload. The box format is a commitment, so compare its size and label.
- For savoury crunch, Nacho Cheese tortilla chips were in stock in the export; several other chip flavours were not.
- For a small sweet item rather than a bar, Quest Protein Cravings peanut butter cups come as a two-cup pack or a twelve-pack.
Classic bars versus Overload bars
The ordinary Quest Bar range at NZ Supps contains Cookies N Cream, Choc Chip Cookie Dough, Birthday Cake, White Choc Raspberry, Choc Brownie, S'Mores and Caramel Choc Chunk. Their catalogue titles list 20g or 21g protein per 60g bar, depending on flavour. Treat those as product-specific labels, not a claim that every bar in the wider Quest range is identical. The stock snapshot showed all but Caramel Choc Chunk available.
Quest's Overload line is marketed as a bar with more chunks, chips and pieces. NZ Supps lists Chocolate Explosion and Sundae Funday in twelve-bar boxes, at 61g and 63g per bar respectively. Both showed stock in the export. The bigger, more dessert-like format may appeal if you already know you enjoy it, but the complete panel matters more than the word "Overload."
Cups, chips and crackers are different jobs

Quest tortilla chips are the savoury branch of the shelf. The brand sells protein chips as a baked, crisp snack, but nutrition differs between product types and flavours. NZ Supps currently lists Nacho Cheese, Ranch, Loaded Taco and Chilli Lime. In the 23 September 2026 snapshot only Nacho Cheese showed stock. Cheese Crackers were also listed but at zero inventory. Do not pick an out-of-stock flavour just because a photo of it appears in an article.
How to choose with a nutrition label
Look at the item you will actually open: one bar, one two-cup packet or one chip bag. Compare protein, energy, fibre, sugar, ingredients and allergens at that serving size. A chip bag can be useful when you want a savoury snack, but the protein number alone does not make it a replacement for a full meal. A bar can be convenient after work, but it does not have to be your cheapest way to reach a daily protein target.
