What is in ISO100?

Dymatize describes ISO100 as protein from whey protein isolate, including hydrolysed whey protein isolate. Its current range page lists 25 g protein per serving, with flavour-specific nutrition on each product page. Hydrolysis means some of the protein has been broken into smaller peptides during processing. It does not make this a different source of protein from milk, and it does not guarantee a better result than another whey powder for every person.

Whey isolate is filtered to reduce some of the lactose, fat and carbohydrates found in a less filtered whey product. That may matter if you compare labels, but ISO100 is still milk-derived. Dymatize's Gourmet Chocolate ingredient panel, for example, also lists soy lecithin. Other flavours can have different ingredients. If you avoid milk, soy, peanuts or another allergen, read the exact local tub rather than assuming the name ISO100 settles the question.

The main job remains straightforward: a measured way to add protein when food alone does not cover your plan. NZ Supps lists several 726 g ISO100 tubs at 24 serves, including Gourmet Vanilla, Cookie N Cream and Fudge Brownie. The 650 g, 20-serve group includes Cocoa Pebbles and the small Dunkin listings. These are catalogue titles, so confirm the nutrition and serving count on the pack you receive.

At the 23 September snapshot, the 650 g Dunkin Mocha Latte, Cappuccino and Glazed Donut listings showed no stock. Cocoa Pebbles did have inventory. Stock changes, and a product page can remain online while unavailable. Choose the formula and flavour first, then look at the live buy button before comparing prices.

The 3 lb listings: a middle size with a stock caveat

Four 3 lb (1.36 kg) flavours appear in the local catalogue: Cocoa Pebbles, Fudge Brownie, Gourmet Chocolate and Gourmet Vanilla. All four showed zero inventory at our snapshot. That makes them a size to watch, not a reliable immediate recommendation.

The local 3 lb titles do not give a serving count. If one returns to stock, use the current nutrition panel to calculate cost per serve. Do not borrow the count from a different size or flavour.

Large tubs: read the serving count for the flavour

The 2.27 kg listings are not all labelled with one number. NZ Supps lists Fudge Brownie at 70 serves, Choc Peanut Butter at 71, and Birthday Cake Pebbles at 75. Other large listings, including Cookie N Cream, say 74, while the large Dunkin Mocha Latte tub is printed with 70 servings. Different serving sizes and flavours can change the count.

A large tub can reduce the price per shake, but calculate that from today's price and the exact tub's servings. It is only a better purchase if you know you will use the flavour. For a first try, a smaller in-stock size may be more sensible than committing to more than 70 shakes.

Which flavour?

Start with an ingredient and flavour profile you know you like.
