SmartShake Original2Go - Space Grey

The SmartShake Original2Go in Space Grey is a 600ml (20oz) shaker bottle from SmartShake, sized for a standard shake and built for anyone who mixes powder on the way to training or work. Sitting in the Accessories range at $22.95 NZD, it is meant to be refilled and reused rather than treated as a one-trip cup. The headline spec is simple: 600ml of capacity in the main bottle, with two extra storage compartments underneath it for whatever you need to carry alongside your drink.

How SmartShake Accessories works

A shaker bottle does one job well: it turns dry powder and liquid into a smooth mix without lumps. When you shake, the liquid moves in turbulent patterns around the powder particles, breaking up clumps that would otherwise sit undissolved at the bottom of a still glass. This matters most with powders that clump on contact with water, whether that is a protein blend or a creatine serve. The faster and more evenly the liquid moves, the more of the powder actually goes into suspension instead of sticking to the walls or settling out.

The SmartShake Original2Go's 600ml capacity gives you enough headroom above the liquid line for that motion to happen properly. A bottle filled to the brim has nowhere for the contents to move, so the extra air space in a 600ml shaker is part of how it gets a cleaner mix than a bottle that is only just big enough for the liquid itself.

Why choose SmartShake Original2Go

Beyond the basic shake-and-go function, the two-compartment base is what separates the SmartShake Original2Go from a plain single-chamber bottle. It is designed so your drink and your dry goods do not have to travel in the same bag pocket.

• The 100ml and 150ml compartments stack under the 600ml bottle, so you can carry a powder dose separately and tip it in only when you are ready to shake.
• Space Grey is one of six SmartShake Original2Go colourways, alongside mint green, neon blue, neon pink, space grey and white, so you can pick a finish that suits your kit.
• Being dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe means the SmartShake Original2Go can go straight from a hot wash to the freezer for pre-chilling without special hand-care.

None of this is complicated engineering, it is a shaker bottle that has been built with storage in mind rather than added as an afterthought.

Getting the most from it

Load the main 600ml chamber with your liquid first, then add your powder and shake immediately rather than letting it sit, since powder that has had time to clump is harder to fully dissolve. The compartments are useful for pre-measuring: keep a scoop of your usual protein powder in one and a pre-workout serve or an electrolyte mix in the other, so both are ready to tip in at the right time instead of being measured out under time pressure at the gym.

For a training day, that might mean pre-workout goes in before you leave home, protein sits in the second compartment for straight after your session, and the main bottle stays empty until you are ready to fill it with water. The SmartShake Original2Go is built around that kind of staged use, which is the main reason to choose a two-compartment shaker over a basic single-chamber one.
